Kristine L. Franklin started writing books when her kids were very small and won five book awards,one award was for the published book named the grape thief.

The wolfhound

This book the wolfhound is about a boy named Pavel and him finding a wolfhound in the snowy storm woods and pavel shelters him and when the dad saw the dog the father said that only nobles,dukes and the Tasar can keep wolfhounds and then the dad told him to realese the dog even if the dog dies in the woods but then when Pavel was trying to bring the dog deep into the woods 3 black wolfs started to attack then the wolfhound started to growl and the wolfs started to run in fear after that the Tasar found his dog  and said to pavel "thank you for nurturing my dog while in the storm then last Pavel was gifted with a white and brown wolfhound puppy.
